According to a tweet on the 28th of July 2010, the regional director of HTC Benelux said that HTC Desire, Wildfire and the Legend will be getting the Android 2.2 upgrade by the end of this week. But because of bandwidth limitations there will be a systematic roll out. HTC HQ has been contacted and they have confirmed this.
In a related story, The HTC Desire was launched in China yesterday, the good news of all you Desire owners, it has been confirmed that it's running Android 2.2. This together with the Benelux story points to an imminent release of Froyo on the Desire.
